The topic of sensuality and sexuality is taboo and even more so for Black women and femmes however, reclaiming our sensuality is integral to embodied healing. I invited Sexuality Doula®, Ev’Yan Whitney because I knew they could guide us through the this conversation of coming home to our sensual selves with depth.

I’ve been following Ev’Yan’s work for a hot minute and I really love how they unapologetically center pleasure.

In this episode, we discuss…

  • The role of self-responsibility in pleasure
  • The key distinctions between sensuality and sexuality
  • Why it’s important for Black folks to move beyond our collective pain
  • Ev’yan also shares their experience of coming out as both non-binary and on the ACE spectrum

If you want to reclaim your most sensual self then this conversation is well worth the listen.

During this episode, I announce the podcast’s first giveaway! Listen and find out how to win a copy of Ev’Yan’s new book + a ticket my Decolonial Visioning 2022 workshop!
